I am an audio engineer who specializes in sound design, post-production mixing for music production, film, and podcasts. I’ve worked with music producers Tony Visconti (David Bowie), Phil Ramone (Ray Charles & Gladys Knight) and pianist Eliane Elias’ album Made In Brazil, which won a Grammy in 2016 for Best Latin Jazz Album.
My projects with Ken Burns include Prohibition, Baseball, The Roosevelts, Vietnam, and The Mayo Clinic. I worked with my brother Casey Pugh to create a full-length crowdsourced version of Star Wars called Star Wars Uncut, which won an Emmy for Outstanding Creative Achievement In Interactive Media in 2010.
My podcast work is varied from The Intercept’s progressive news show Deconstructed to the 2018 Webby Award Winner for Best Business Podcast, Masters of Scale.
